Just installed a 16' triangle shade over my above ground pool.
Everybody loves it. Picked up a pressure treated 6"x6"x16'post.
Installed stainless steel eye hooks on my fascia and post,stainless steel
1/8" cable through shade rings, and aluminum and steel turn buckels
on all three corners to tighten up shade.This shade is the cheap part of
the job as the post and mounting hardware was about $75.00 which will be
around forever.If you get cheaper hardware it will rust,break,....etc.
My fascia near pool is only about 7' in the air so I opted to put my 16'
post 5'in the ground and at slight angle away from the pool. This way when
you tighten up your cables/turn buckels your post will be level.I installed
the post eye hook at 11' high giving the sun shade the optimum sun blocking
opportunity from East to West.Living in Orlando, Fl. the summers are brutal.
I imagine the sun and weather will eat any shade I purchase up in a couple of
seasons. Next time I will be able to slack off the cables and hook a brand
new shade up in less than an hour. (It also helps to have a few buddies over when
taking the final slack out of the cables before tightening turn buckles). Also
do not tighten all the way on your first day. Let the sun and rain hit it for
a week, or wet it down with your hose. Tighten it down the rest of the way
after that and be careful not to over tighten/stretch it. Hope this Helps Yah.

Hard to beat this product.

Appears to be of very similar fabric used on my Cooleroo products purchased, but much less expensive.

No hardware included, but that works for me as I prefer to choose my hardware.

This sun sail did not disappoint. Great quality for the money. Fit the patio perfectly and serves shade well.

We purchased this triangle shade for our dog pen. We have two large black labs who have no shade. The shade is really awesome. So awesome infact, that we purchased another one. The labs used to head back into their building soon after the sun came up but now laze under the sails most of the day. I don't have to rush to let them out of their pen so they can seek a cooler spot! Very sturdy material and for me, the triangle fasteners in each corner were perfect. All we purchased were two large hooks to screw into the building and we already had the fence posts. The rope that came with each sail worked beautifully. I highly recommend these.

This is a great shade, especially for the low cost.

I do recommend buying better ties for it. It comes with cheap white nylon rope, which, for long-term use, looks pretty tacky. We used wire and it looks much better. Also, be sure to buy hardware, this does not come with any.

I was really impressed by the build quality for this product, especially for the price. It arrived on time and complete. I found it was easy to hang up even by myself. It works perfect.

This was exactly what I thought it was going to be. It provides good shade for my dog and plants on the deck

Purchased three shades initially. They looked great overlapped and decided to add two more. One shade wouldn't have worked because of their shape. Wasn't too thrilled about the color initially, but it blends in nicely. Sails provide lots of shade.

I already had a 10'x10' triangular shade sail, but needed a bigger one. This one fits the bill and is well made, but does let a little more light through than the previous one.

Can't speak to longevity quite yet, but so far it appears a good quality item and I've had no issues with it. I did use the supplied lengths of synthetic rope to tie two of the shade vertices on to boat style tie off cleats which I attached to the side off the house. The final corner was the challenge since I didn't want to plant a post in the middle of my yard. I decided to use 1/16" aircraft cable with appropriate thimbles and clips attached to the final triangle vertice and tied it back to a tree in the rear of the yard approx. 65' away. The cable is strong enough and fine enough that it really doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like a lone post in the middle of the yard would. I've thought about buying another one for more shade. The biggest consideration is making sure you think through where your attachment points will be. Not as easy to plop in as an umbrella but muy cheaper and it doesn't take up space, in my case on the deck.

The sun shade blocks the sun as advertised. It's unique shape added a bit of "drama" to the backyard. We did buy different line to attach to the house. We felt it made the shade structure more durable to withstand some of our Texas wind.

Well made shade has done wonders for my deck. As each side is 16.5 feet, the 'height' is just over 14 feet (do the math). The coverage area can be extended with the included nylon rope. I'm happy with this purchase.

great metal rings on the edges. I just used some carabiners and some hooks. Works great, lots of shade for the price, this is a great price for a large shade.

A great sail! Sturdy and holds up well. Be sure your posts are solid and anchored! I had mine covering my parking area from hot social sun and it really covers more than you may think.

I actually haven't put these up yet, but they look great. Very sturdy material and nice color to go with many house colors.

Living in Arizona, using your pool is a challenge. Sure it's always sunny, but sometimes it's too sunny/hot to swim. This sun shade sail created the perfect amount of shade. We didn't buy the hardware, just used a couple of bungie cords and the rope provided and tied it to our palm trees. This is much better than the umbrellas that hang over the pool and a heck of a lot cheaper. We're probably going to get another one to use over the other side of the pool. Sizing was great for AZ "play" (15k gallons inground, but not a diving pool) pools. Color was typical AZ "sand", so HOA's shouldn't complain.

If you want save some money on a patio......this is the answer....these sail shades do the trick.....I put up three of these...all in different angles from each other....and get plenty of shade....and the shade pattern makes for a very artistic approach...I get alot of compliments from guest.

For the price, the item seems pretty descent. However, the package came with missing hardware and no instructions (putting it together seems pretty self explanatory though). Right now, I am waiting for the seller to respond and see how they take care of the situation. I will update this review in the future.
Update: Seller was prompt to answer my email and is mailing the hardware. Looking forward to putting shade up. Will add on to review in future once shade is in place.
